Please note that Orchids Plus will take several hours to install as there are over 70,000 images. Your computer hardware and running processes will also impact overall performance. You may consider starting the install process before retiring to bed if convenient.
You can perform other tasks on your computer while Orchids Plus is installing.

Step 1: Download OrchidsPlus installation .ISO file
Click the link provided by our team in your welcome email. The link will open a new tab. No preview will be available, but the option to download should be present. To use the ISO file, you have to "mount" it. This is automatic in Windows 8. But if you have Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, you would need additional software. There are free programs available that allow you to mount an ISO file. Keep in mind that we do NOT provide support for any such software.
OR if you requested the DVD, Insert the DVD
In many cases, the DVD will load the Orchids Plus install menu (autorun.exe) . If you are prompted by Windows to run autorun.exe, please do so.
Alternatively, you can open the DVD and double-click on autorun.exe.
Step 2: Click "Install Orchids Plus"
Hint: if it takes more than 30 seconds for the Orchids Plus installer menu to load after you press "Install Orchids Plus", please try turning off any Antivirus Software you have running. Antivirus software can try scanning the very large installer file which "significantly" slows down the process.
If you do not already have .net 4 installed, the Orchids Plus setup will install it for you (with your permission.)
Step 3: Follow the Installation Wizard
Once the "Orchids Plus Setup" screen appears, simply click Next, then accept the agreement (if you agree to it), then press Next at each prompt (a total of four times) until the installation is in progress.
IMPORTANT: If you will not be at your computer during the install process, make sure your computer isn't set to turn itself off (or sleep/hibernate) after X minutes of no mouse movement or typing. That could halt the installation process.
Step 4: Activate the Software (or try the 15-day evaluation)
After the installation has completed, Orchids Plus will automatically start.
You have the option to start a 15-day evaluation, or click "Activate" if you are a current subscriber which will give you full access to the software.
Simply enter your serial number into the box and press “Activate Now.”
Important Reminder
Kindly keep in mind that your OrchidsPlus subscription allows you to install the software on up to two computers for your use. If you attempt to install the software on more than two computers, the system will give you an error and not allow you. If you replaced your computer that previously had OrchidsPlus installed and you are getting an error using your license key, please submit a request explaining your situation to support@aos.org so that we can reset your activations on your license key.
